Carrying the Message

I was in Korea in 1960 and helped to start a group there. Also I saw AA in action in Japan. Then was shipped to Vandenberg AFB in the fall and helped to start a group at that base. We were so small I was Secretary and GSR both. In 1962 I was shipped to Greenland for a few months then near Goose Bay, Labrador. This place was out on a chain of very remote sites. It was the end of nowhere. But I did get into Goose Bay by air at times and they had two meetings a week there, one American and one Canadian, but they were nearly one group they were so close.
