Anonymity like salt

In regard to the "Iron of Humility" (November, 1965) I do not doubt that there are members of AA who would derive a great deal of satisfaction from completely submerging themselves in anonymity. But for practical reasons, AA suggests that we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of radio, press and film--no more and no less. According to Dr. Bob, "The use of anonymity in AA is comparable to the use of salt in cooking, 'A little is essential, a lot is ruinous.' "
