It's Not Necessary to Hate Your Job

A PR writer finds that AA principles help him keep and improve a career he once thought a racket

SEVERAL years ago I started thinking about an article which would attempt to show that it is possible to reconcile modern concepts of public relations, publicity and advertising, with the AA way of life. My own experience might prove of interest to some others who ply the public relations profession in the jungles of Hollywood, Madison Avenue or wherever the public mind is fed and nourished on bombastic words, catchlines and subliminal pictures.
