Carrying the Message

Growing

The Nairobi Branch of AA is now in a sort of interim existence. There are four of us--me, Michael, an American woman called Liza, and a young unemployed African called David. Michael and Liza both have a year or two of sobriety, David has fewer twenty-four hours. We meet Tuesday evenings in a local coffee bar, since numbers are so small, and we have no organization. But it is just possible we may expand a bit soon. The Standard published a long article by "A Kenya member of AA" (me), copy approved by Michael.
