Once Over Lightly
WITH A NOD to those still fighting their losing battles with bottles, we give you a story from Larry L., of California--one about two drunks who built a fire at the foot of the Washington Monument. The fire got out of control naturally and was blazing fiercely, when a third drunk tottered up, surveyed the scene with due solemnity, and declared, "Fellows, you'll never get it off the ground."
