A Psychiatrist Helped Us

Saying thanks for help and respecting the opinions of others surely should include our medical friends?

I WAS initiated into the AA climate of love at my first meeting, and since that night have experienced it over and over again. But sometimes, along with this expression of love for one another, there is a disparaging attitude toward psychiatrists. Most of us seem to enjoy the laughter and a feeling of superiority when AA is given credit for being more successful than psychiatry.
