Active Prayer

Far too much of our spiritual life is timorous and tentative, hesitant to lay hold on life in its fullness. One questions if he is good enough to deserve better. Another wonders if he is going against the will of God. Much of what passes for prayer in many people is mere longing and pining after the good. The result is many false starts and no "follow through." You can get what you want, if you know what you are after.
