Carrying the Message

Definition of humility

All my life I have been searching for a believable and workable definition of humility. Since coming into AA two years ago, it became apparent to me that humility is the very foundation upon which we build, not only sobriety, but the way of life I've always longed for and could never find. The article in the April '66 issue by J. R. K., Milwaukee, Wis. was my answer. Besides being beautifully written, it says something believable and workable. Thank you J. R. K.--thanks very much for your help.
