I learned about AA for the first time in 1945. I was an army physician from 1954 to 1958. It was a sergeant who introduced me to an American Army Group. Although I am not an alcoholic the contact with AA is one of the most exciting and impressive experiences of my whole life and of my professional career. AA is a precious gift for me.
