Carrying the Message

The open meeting at Salzburg is starting to pay off. Several individuals have connected with each other to make for the nucleus of more than one new group. Visited the "drinkers home" in Salzburg and seem to find myself getting involved. The good Dr. B. is a Doctor of Philosophy--has a wonderful appreciation of AA and a very human approach. I gather there is something of a Linz Group started. Dr. B. asked if I could go and speak. Will take Hans, jam Vladimir in the back of the car and go. Vladimir is the Russian-born stateless newcomer to AA. Seems to find AA to be the answer after losing seventeen years of his life with booze. He's in that delicate period of starting from scratch after a five-year period of confinement, besides booze.
