Carrying the Message

Here, on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, where there are one or more meetings daily, in our very midst is one who is a "loner." This is through no fault of her own, nor of language, nor of geography. She is a Negro, and there (at present) are no integrated groups here. (She also wears an artificial leg, to which she never refers. She never complains, or expects special treatment.)
