Just Plain Sober

I HAVE recently moved into an area where the majority of AA meetings are closed discussions. At first, I was a trifle critical of the local members for apparently preferring this kind of meeting to the open speaker meetings to which I had been so long accustomed. I thought I detected a tendency to overemphasize anonymity, even to make of AA some sort of a mystic secret society, rather than the open hearted Fellowship which I felt it should be.
