TRAVEL IS BROADENING, they say, and to start this month off we must relate the tale of the New Yorker who boarded a train for Los Angeles. Across the aisle sat a drunk who, between shots, cried incessantly. By the time they were rolling through Arizona, he couldn't stand it any longer and asked the sot, "Do you want to tell me what's wrong? Maybe I can help."
