Carrying the Message

It's occurred to me that, of all the living creatures on this earth, man is the only one who prays or has need to. Prayer is the means of making contact with the Power greater than ourselves. Prayer need not be a formalized routine of words--or a childish request for favors--nor is it a refuge for weaklings. Prayer is a mature activity which enables us to achieve complete harmony of mind, body and spirit; a means of harnessing our finite energy to the infinite energy or Power of God.
