ONCE UPON A TIME, in a tiny village called Longwind, there lived a tribe of people who, having suffered much from long abuse of Strong Drink, had banded together into a fellowship called Alcoholics Anonymous. They studied much from the Big Book, and became sober, and Lo! their fame spread throughout the land and there was much rejoicing. But in time, alas, another great curse descended upon them: the Plague of the Galloping Tongue. Whensoever one of them would be called upon to speak, he would talk until the cock crowed and great indeed was the woe and misery of those who must hear him.
