Drugs and Auto Accidents A Warning to Doctors

More than half of the drug advertisements in two recent issues of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) contained warning of such side effects as drowsiness, visual disturbances, vertigo, and feelings of unsteadiness--side effects which can contribute to driving hazards. The advertisements were typical of those which appear regularly in medical journals.
