Carrying the Message

Things are getting back to more or less normal now, settling down very nicely. I'm still working in the bar. I'm finding it a bit palling now, and certainly do not recommend this type of work to any alky unless he has a number of years of good, solid sobriety behind him. I believe that I am O.K. up to date, but I find that I have to keep a stronger lookout on myself lately. Where before, I didn't give the grog a thought while serving it, I am now almost fighting it and as we all know this is not good for any alky. I'll be pleased to be out of the bar game and back on the water again.
