Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

MORE THAN one of us have wandered into a pub in search of the Grand Adventure. This is a patently silly thing to do since (a) Grand Adventures are as likely to be found in the public library, (b) if located, the quarry is rather elusive, and (c) by the time we could figure out how to bag said quarry, we have taken so many shots of liquid courage we are thoroughly bagged ourselves, and totally disinterested.
