Dear Editors:

Nonagenarian go-go

It was just wonderful in 1949. I was seventy-one years old when I came to AA that year. I was a pitiful sight, but with the help of AA and its wonderful program I am enjoying life as I've never done before. I expect to spend my ninetieth birthday in some new and interesting place. Three years ago, I attended the World Conference in Toronto, then visited AA headquarters in New York. Above all, I had the good fortune to meet Bill W. Believe me, there is no end to the great blessings this way of life brings you. I'm ever so grateful.
