My Name Is Jack

An alcoholic's own story

For many years, I was a ship without an anchor, floundering helplessly in the storm created by my drinking. In August 1948, Alcoholics Anonymous gave me sobriety and a second chance at life. Today, I have my anchor and a wonderful way of life in which I am trying to grow.
