Around AA - Items of AA Information and Experience

At the 28th International Congress on Alcohol and Alcoholism, Dr. John Norris, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Alcoholics Anonymous, released the results of the first broad survey ever made of AA membership. The study was conducted under the supervision of competent research technicians and covered 12,000 alcoholics who attended 466 AA meetings--almost 5% of the meetings in each of the 50 states of the United States and the 9 provinces of Canada. Here are some key findings of that study.
