Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

ONE OF the celebrants may have been the poor fellow who woke up in a hospital, covered with plaster casts from head to toe. He had no idea at all how he had arrived at that sorry state of affairs, until a friend entered. "Tell me," our broken-up buddy asked, "what happened to me? How did I get all smashed up?" "Well," his friend replied, "you bet you could jump out of the office window, fly all around the building, and not fall."
