Personal Opinion - 'Chappaqua'

A film oddity--but really odd! --opened recently at the Sutton Theater, New York City. Chappaqua, starring (if that's the word) Conrad Rooks, based on a poem by Conrad Rooks, directed by Conrad Rooks, and about Conrad Rooks's life as an alcoholic and stand-up dope fiend (to borrow a telling phrase from our cousins, the narcotics addicts), got mixed reviews from the city critics, some of whom liked its startling photography, etc., but most of whom were 'left wondering: So what?
