Carrying the Message

It might interest you to know that from a Buddhist point of view--which is the predominant religion here--I am proud to say, as the first recovered Buddhist alcoholic, that Bill and Bob deserve all the praise and honor for having so thoughtfully laid down the Twelve Steps. In point of fact, these Steps are the very foundations upon which the Buddhist philosophy is also built, though of course worded differently. Unless we discipline ourselves, we never can become victorious. I applied this with great success. I shall endeavor to explore ways of obtaining any concrete suggestions from other faiths on "God as we understand Him" for your information.
