Carrying the Message

Not very long ago I joined the ranks of your Fellowship (ours now), and I take the opportunity to say "Hello" across the ocean. The Big Book really got to me and convinced me of my inability to drink socially. AA is growing rapidly in South Australia. In Adelaide (population 650,000) there are fifteen active groups. Some of the members are "off it" for fifteen years. To me, rather a newcomer, this seems strange. I am not counting my happy days now, as they soon will grow into the years. Twenty-four hours a day, as I was taught, will do me.
