Around AA - Items of AA Information and Experience

The Grapevine sends out reminder envelopes to subscribers when a subscription is about to run out. The usual reminder sent recently to an Alaskan subscriber produced an unusual response. We heard from the subscriber's widow; he had died in December of last year. Now, we rarely publish personal tributes--almost never the tributes of one AA to another. (So many of us feel so grateful to so many others of us that the Grapevine could be filled with such tributes from one end of the year to the other.) But this letter especially seemed one that should be shared. We hope you agree.
