AS GOOD tipplers in training, we used to finish up all the half-empty glasses left by guests at the parties we gave. Betty O., of Westchester, Ill., reports that this relatively common trick was being done out her way by a sodden husband one night. His wife asked him just why he was doing what he was doing. He replied, "But dear, just think of all those poor souls running around the streets in India cold sober."
