Carrying the Message

Only this morning I had been thinking about my "problem." So I said to myself, "Here I am, sober over seven months. Most of the time I've been at sea and couldn't get a drink. Even now, I don't particularly want one. So why worry about it? . . .We stop in Palma, Majorca, Spain, in a couple of days. So why not go over and have a 'couple' with the guys? That way I'll find out whether or not I can handle it."
