Is AA Enough--for Everybody?

This member was unable to dispel the darkness or ease the anguish even after years of AA sobriety

IN THE beginning of AA, when nothing else needed to be known about alcoholics except how they might achieve the kind of sobriety that would make long-term abstinence possible, information about alcoholics who had been continuously dry for several years was not only lacking but immaterial.
