When she told her story every woman in the room found new meaning in some old-fashioned words like: valor, courage, fearlessness. . .

FROM her very first meeting, Helen was a puzzlement to our women's group. It was obvious from the start that she might have a different sort of problem from the rest of us. Her right leg had been severed above the knee.
