Response to "Is Agnostic a Nasty Word?
"Is Agnostic a Nasty Word" (September issue)? The answer is always, in AA: "No, it is not a nasty word!" One of the differences of being an agnostic in AA is the stress that develops within the agnostic himself, or herself. To oversimplify, one of the causes of the stress, I am afraid, is the regarding of self as "different," as we did in the days of our drinking life.
