Most Distinctive Contribution

Austin MacCormick, non-AA Trustee of the General Service Board of Alcoholics Anonymous, and a Director of the Corporate Board of the AA Grapevine, Inc., was presented with the $7,800 Bowdoin Prize, given every five years by Bowdoin College to the alumnus who has made the most distinctive contribution in any field of human endeavor. The award committee consists of the Presidents of Harvard and Yale, and the Chief Justice of the Maine Supreme Court.
