Around AA - Items of AA Information and Experience

An AA member here in Miami Beach, returning from a trip to Spain, said she found it very difficult to contact AAs; however, she did find a small group in Madrid. Because of their tight anonymity, and also because of their lack of information and of AA literature such as pamphlets, the Big Book, and the "Twelve and Twelve," the Madrid Group has been "adopted" by the Serenity Group of Miami Beach. We have sent Grapevine subscriptions, the Big Book, and the "Twelve and Twelve," plus other AA material which will be well used. One of the dividends is the new AA friendships we have made. We are fortunate, and so are our Spanish friends, that they are bilingual and can keep this correspondence going.
