The AA Member and Government Employment

An AA with eight years of working experience in Washington advises the fellow member who may be considering a job with the government

THE ROLE of the government employee is an interesting one and can lead to a well-paid and satisfying career. Because I am a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, my own experience in moving from the private sector to a fairly high government job brought many problems and questions, but also many special activities. I should like to detail steps that I think the average member of AA should take if he is considering government employment.
