It Ain't Necessarily So. . .

A long-time member speaks up about certain generalizations she hears at meetings

IT HAS been said that humility is the ability to accept criticism from those who are qualified to offer it, plus the ability to disregard such observations when made by unqualified persons. Now I don't know just where I stand in this respect; I can only say that I've been an AA member in continuous good standing for, well, nearer twenty years than fifteen; and I have in mind a few suggestions that might prove helpful to someone or other.
