Around AA - Items of AA Information and Experience

Traveling alcoholics (sober in AA or still wrestling alone with the problem) are finding a new and warm "welcome to our fair city" in various places these days. The Public Information Committee in Saskatoon, Sask., put up an AA road sign early last year--right next to the Kiwanis' and the Elks'--displaying the number of the AA answering service in that city. In Fresno, Calif., the PIC arranged to include notice of AA local availability on a billboard giving a lineup of civic clubs. Here's still another AA sign, posting the time and place of meetings in Duncan, Okla. This one is strategically located in a city park on a main highway, near a large motel.
