A First for AA in Hungary!
The first open AA meeting in Hungary was held on June 12, 1969, at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, in Budapest, during the meeting of the 15th International Institute on the Prevention and Treatment of Alcoholism. A GSO Staff Member, Midge M., attended and participated in the week-long sessions of the institute during her vacation.
