PI Talks to Outside Groups

Assigning members to explain the AA program of recovery to key nonalcoholic groups seems to be a prime function of local Public Information Committees. The gatherings addressed by AAs in the U.S. and Canada have included: high-school and college students, church youth groups, medical and nursing students, nurses, hospital orderlies and administration workers, policemen and police-academy cadets, labor-union officials, women's clubs, clergymen's organizations, businessmen's groups, and many others.
