The essay "Be Gentle With Yourself," in the December 1969 Grapevine, had originally been titled "Desiderata" and was printed with the credit line "Inscription dated 1692, found in Old St. Paul's Church, Baltimore, Md." Now M. D. B., of Jackson, Mich., has set our record straight by sending us the following explanatory note. (It seems the GV was not alone in mistaking the source of the essay.
