Firemen Challenge Blood Test
NEW YORK--If a fireman appears intoxicated, it is the duty of his superior officer to report the matter to a battalion chief, who, if he concurs, will call for a department physician. If the physician concludes after a clinical examination that the fireman is probably drunk, he will order him to submit to a blood-alcohol test.
