Second-year depressions
Recently, it was my first AA birthday. My sponsor saw to it that I had full recognition. There were gifts, cakes, meetings, speeches, and congratulations all around by everyone. This one-year thing meant a great deal to me. I was elated! It was a milestone, a really great experience, after so many hopeless years of drinking.
