Carrying the Message

Postal ripostes

This letter is in regard to your unwarrantable and uncalled-for remarks against postal employees, in "There's Anonymity and Then There's Anonymity," May Grapevine. A mail-carrier has from four to six hundred stops a day. He handles between one and two thousand pieces of mail daily, and he couldn't care less what kind of mail each individual receives. If the individual you were referring to feels so strongly about his mail, I would advise him to read the first article in the same issue of the Grapevine.
