Carrying the Message

Some time after I had come into the AA Fellowship and become active in my group, my long-time AA sponsor and friend moved away to Chicago. We continued to correspond frequently, but at one point my attendance at meetings slackened. I may have divulged this in a letter. The response was brief and to the point.
