AA Welcome for Returning Pilgrims
On May 2, 1970, Plymouth, England, commenced a large-scale celebration of the sailing of the Pilgrims on the Mayflower to settle in the New World, and the city is welcoming many thousands of visitors both from Great Britain and from overseas. The celebrations will be for an extended period and are known as Mayflower '70.
