Carrying the Message

Just a year before I came here, there was a friend of mine in our group, another young fellow like me, who killed himself accidentally while in a blackout. He got hold of some drain-cleaner, thinking it was a hangover remedy, and drank it. So there it is: He's dead, and I'm doing life for killing someone while in a blackout. So anyone who might think he is too young should "put the toys away," as they say. And look again. Two of us from the same group within one year!
