Carrying the Message

The 30th Anniversary celebration of the Five Points Group of Birmingham, Ala., to be held April 10-12 at the Tutwiler Hotel, is really the 30th Anniversary of AA in the South, for it was from this group that the first groups in the surrounding states got started. The early members of Five Points went out into the major cities in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana to help the first individuals making inquiry about AA to begin groups of their own.
