Hung-Over Computer

If his bank's computer was to be believed, Robin Esser must be the world's biggest drinker. His account showed he had spent just over 6,000,000 pounds at a liquor store. But evidently the bottle of gin and the ginger beer he bought gave the computer a hangover, and it subtracted the extra 6,000,000. Yesterday the account was all square, and Esser's bank manager, in one of London's southern suburbs, wrote to apologize for the error.
