Carrying the Message

I am the only woman alcoholic here. Being from a small town, and not having any AA in the immediate vicinity, I go to a group in a larger town. But there aren't any women members up there. Not long ago, I heard that a man can't twelfth-step a woman and vice versa. That makes the phone therapy kind of hard to come by, and I am not in on any of those chatty talks after the meetings that I've seen the men have with each other.
