AND THEN there was the Florida cabbie who radioed to the highway patrol that his passenger was forcing him to drive at gunpoint. Ten cruisers and four sheriff's ears searched, and one cruiser finally found him. Then the cabbie radioed a request to have the cruiser quit following him. The trooper did, reporting that there was only one man in the cab.
