No Time for Self-pity

A PARADOXICAL EQUATION continues to baffle me in my AA way of life: The more I do, the more I'm able to do. I think the fullness which is now in my life began its momentum of growth about two years ago, when I was one year sober and aged twenty-eight. It had been a year of staying sober, going to AA meetings, and maintaining my job. That was the extent of my activity.
